We are delighted to be taking delivery of another new All Terrain Crane in the form of a 220T Demag AC 220-5 which will compliment our exiting extensive crane fleet which provides a range of capabilities from our smallest 80T All Terrain to or largest 280T Crawler. The five axle AC 220-5 features an eight section 78m main boom, plus an 11.4 to 21m bi-fold swingaway extension for a 99m maximum tip height.
Concast’s Director and Financial Controller Bernard Quinn says “the main reason we decided on the AC 220-5 was the high quality and associated reliability of Demag cranes. In addition, its powerful performance characteristics made quite an impression on us, as both large lifting capacities and utmost precision are required when building structures with heavy precast concrete units and the Demag definitely delivers on both counts”.
