Concast have completed the installation of two access core solutions at Riverside Sunderland Multi-Storey Car Park Precast (pictured) for our client Goldbeck and developer Sunderland City Council. The two separate seven floor access cores provide lifts, stairs and landings to all 11 split levels of parking within this new 650 space car park. Concast are a market leader in providing access core solutions with projects ongoing and recently completed for clients including BAM, Sisk and Bourne Parking. Our Precast access cores have a major impact by; reducing construction programmes; improving construction health and safety; while also ensuring safe early access for following trades. Our access cores are independently free standing and can be designed to provide stability as part of the overall structural frame both during construction and on completion. Elements cast within the Precast allow for ease of connecting a surrounding hybrid steel structural frame. We have successfully provided solutions for many different project types including offices, mixed use buildings and accommodation blocks such as hotels, residential and student residences.
