Concast are commencing installation of our total Precast frame solution for the new Greystones Community College (3D Precast model pictured), providing permanent accommodation of approximately 11,000 sqm. The new school will include over 50 classrooms along with a 1,000 sqm sports hall. Our client main contractor BAM, choose a Precast concrete solution due to the many benefits of this modern method of construction including delivering the completed project within a tight programme. Greystones Community College is being delivered under the Department of Education’s Design and Build programme which has also awarded BAM new schools at Citywest and Sandymount which Concast are currently designing. Concast have recently completed similar large scale Precast frame school solutions for BAM at Knocklyon and Ballinteer, both located within Dublin’s south side.
